If you are like me, you want to have enough money to live comfortably. You want to be able to spend time on work that is meaningful to you, rather than work because you have no choice. You want to have time and energy for other things in life, like family, friends, and maybe some fun. You might want to be able to retire early.
If such thoughts resonate with you, I welcome you to sign up for my newsletter on financial freedom, where I share my reflections, thoughts, and ideas as we journey towards financial freedom.
This website is not about hot stock tips, financial advice on shares and bonds, or interest rates, but more about financial therapy, personal money management, and a good dose of common sense. (In fact, you should not take financial advice from anyone from the Internet, but do your own research instead.)
One of my main themes is that the past has lessons to teach us, if we are willing to listen. You may have heard: “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it does rhyme.” And you may have also heard: “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.”
We can draw on useful, relevant lessons from the past to inform our decisions in the present, that we hope will be useful in the future. I believe that if we can do that well, we can thrive and be more successful in our journey towards financial freedom.
